3-strip insulation feed
By winding 3 strips, it is possible to wind with very thin layer insulation and thick wires, making a particularly compact and efficient coil possible. Two strips are permanently wound from the beginning to the end of the coil with a small overlap. A wedge-shaped insulation is built up in each layer. The third strip serves as the edge strip and is automatically shot in at the end of the layer to fill the edge of the coil. Everything works fully automatically, without glue or manual intervention.
Wire flattener
Wires are flattened directly in the wire guide eliminating the need for an expensive, big external wire flattener and allowing the use of regular round wires while also achieving a higher filling degree of the coil and as a result, a more compact coil. The use of round or flat wires is also possible with optional flat wire and round wire brakes.
Dancer system
Vibrations and varying wire tensions are picked up by the dancer system keeping the wire tension constant, even at high winding speeds with rectangular coils.
