Our efficient fully-automatic wire winding machine for the production of distribution transformer coils up to 600 kVA with automatic winding of strip insulation.
Winding with a strip insulation enables winding of graded insulation between the wire layers minimizing the required insulation material and significantly reducing the coil size while achieving the same insulation quality.
Wires are flattened directly in the wire guide eliminating the need for an expensive, big external wire flattener and allowing the use of regular round wires while also achieving a higher filling degree of the coil and as a result, a more compact coil. The use of round or flat wires is also possible with optional flat wire and round wire brakes.
Vibrations and varying wire tensions are picked up by the dancer system keeping the wire tension constant, even at high winding speeds with rectangular coils.
